Mark Nathan
Mark Nathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007, and a graduate of both Dublin City University and University College Cork.
Mark has worked in both Practice and in Industry as an Accountant and has extensive knowledge of finance in Ireland.

Tom Barry
Tom qualified with a B. Comm Degree from UCC in 1984.
Tom has worked as an Accountant in the industrial sector for a number of years and was appointed as Com-Net’s Company Secretarial Services Manager for their Cork Office in May 2004.

David Martin
David qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 1995 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
David has previously worked in the Company Secretarial departments of some of Dublin’s leading law firms and accountancy practices and was appointed as Com-Net’s Company Secretarial Services Manager in July 2010.

2. SHORT TERM VISITORS : Visa Changes

Between July and October 2011, short term visitors to Ireland - who ordinarily require a visa to enter the country - will not require a visa provided they are in possession of a valid visa to enter the UK.  It is hoped that this measure will bring increased business and tourism to Ireland.

The rules in relation to voluntary strike off of non-trading / dormant companies changed with effect from 1st May.  Please contact us if you are considering removing your company from the Register.

6. COMPLIANCE UPDATE

In May 2010, the Companies Registration Office prosecuted 47 Companies in the Dublin District Court for failure to file a total of 68 annual returns. A total of 17 companies in respect of 26 overdue returns were convicted and fines amounting to nearly €9000 were imposed, and costs awarded.
